DNS Features
The service offers zone management functionality including A, CNAME, MX record management, as well as subdomain delegation. Domain Forwarding Features
Domain forwarding is included in the Managed DNS Service and includes subdomain forwarding, URL framing at a granular subdomain level, an Under Construction page and a fully customizable Domain for Sale template.
Zone Updates In Minutes
With Tucows Managed DNS service, zone information is updated in five (5) minutes to the Tucows hosted authoritative and slave name servers.
Automated Zone Info Population
Automated retrieval of existing zone information is provided to simplify zone migration. This is built into the purchase process and is also available for ongoing management.
This functionality is based on a proprietary technology developed by Tucows and does not rely on zone transfer being enabled.
